Now the VGS Staff has announced its new Part Time Staffers Program, which will give you free admission to the show and all you have to do is bring in a gaming console (from any generation along with games), Television or monitor, and power connections (strip and/or cord, if you can’t provide one, lets us know, and we will get one set for you), your set up will be placed at the tournament tables and behind the shop tables. To sign up for the program, use the VGS Form on the contact page and select “Part time Staffer” from the drop down box along with the information in the comment area and submit it to us, and we will get back to you. Space is limited So the faster you give us your information the better the chances you get your space set up. The Video Game Summit, now in its sixth year, brings together classic and modern generation gamers from all over the country to swap stories, games and to compete in sanctioned tournaments and raffles. The event is open to the public and people of all ages with an interest in video games or computers are encouraged to attend. According to the event's organizer, Dan Iacovelli, "we plan to have gaming consoles to play. ” The date of the show will be July 18th, 2009 from 11am to 6pm at The Heron Point Convention Center,665 West North Avenue, Lombard,IL(adjacent from the Fairfield Inn and Suites hotel)Admission is $3.00 per person(which includes free entry to raffle and your first free pop and bag and chips(Additional pop is 1.25 each and bag of chips .75 each).Tables is 10.00 each (This includes admission for your group, raffle entry and pop and bag of chips).
