US Tour
The 2006 Video Game Summit was held on August 12th, 2006 (the 2005 VGS was held on July 16th, 2005) Turn out for this show was drastically downsized compared to the last three shows. It was good to see Suburban Chicago ATarians users group and Goat Store return for the 4th show as well did Nicole Geyer and Chris Bielicki. New comers to the show were 8-bit classics and Ian Baronofsky. This year I had help (the past years I didn't) we had more gaming competitions this year too not just for Atari, but for Sega, Nintendo .Playstation and Xbox. I continued the Gorf contest from MGC. We had a small turnout as mentioned and unfortunately it caused us to lose a lot of money on it(more then the past three years)(I would like to take this time to thank my helpers for VGS'06: Emily Gruszka, Paul Zimmerman, Corey Koltz and Julian Wolfe(Julian couldn't make the show due car trouble.)
